Letter from Nina Hamilton to Thomas Hardy, 3 July 1922
[Page 1]THE DUCHESS OF HAMILTON. 19, ST JAMES' SQUARE, S.W.1.
3rd July 1922
Dear Sir Thomas Hardy.
I have not the pleasure of knowing you personally, but have I think read with much enjoyment all your books.
I do hope you are interested in a reform to do away with the present horrible [Page 2] methods of killing animals for food.
I do not suppose you can come to the meetings, but do please send us a message of encouragement.
Believe me
Yours sincerely
Nina Hamilton
