My dear Mr Hardy,

I only write two lines. 1st to congratulate you most sincerely on your marriage & to wish you all happiness in that state. [Secondly] to say that I will write again soon about the novel. May I hope that we may arrange for May or June; but you shall hear soon.

Meanwhile, if you are coming to town any day, I shd be much obliged if you would give me a call & talk over the matter a little.

Yours very truly

L. Stephen
